Lachlan Gleeson (2011)
Found ciliated groove along the tentacle. Used to pass food towards the mouth. Also found secretory cells at the top of the groove. Was unusual because they are only found at the top of the grove. We hypothesised that they are mucus secreting cells but were unable to confirm this due to time and equipment constraints. We also found rings of cells in the celomic cavity which were possibly nerve bundles that ran the length of the tentacle. However we were not able to confirm this either.
